Trick-or-Treat 10-31-14

Today at work my boss in the Optical department dressed up for Halloween....

Before our friends got to our house we were visited by Elsa, Anna and Olaf!

Duct Tape 10-29-14

I went to Hobby Lobby after work tonight and got to just walk around all by myself. It was wonderful to get to take as much time as I wanted to looking at all the fun things. I came across this....look at all that duct tape! I had no idea there were so many different designs and styles of this stuff!!

New Place and Favorite Place 10-28-14

Today Dustin and I checked out the new Jimmy Johns in town! It was a fun atmosphere and yummy sandwiches!

After work, I took the dogs to one of our favorite places for a long walk.

Old School 10-27-14

This is the old school house at Cooper Park reflected in the pond. This pond is home to fish, turtles, different kinds of ducks and some kind of muskrat family.

Night Reflections 10-26-14

We met Dustin's parents at a fall festival their church was having. This was the pretty view of the pond after the sun had gone down.

Country Drive 10-25-14

Dustin, the dogs, and I hopped into the car and went on a fun Sunday drive in the country.
We went to a place called Rockbridge Mill. They had a nice little restaurant there that we had lunch at. We got dessert to go and ate a gooey yummy brownie sundae out by the water with our sweet pups beside us.

We also drove to the popular photography spot, Hodgson Mill. We walked the dogs around and took some pictures.

We had such a great day just seeing new sights, listening to music in the car and just being together.

Dracula 10-24-14

Dustin, Kib and I went to see the new Dracula movie tonight. We brought in smuggled candy and had a good time together. I love hanging out with those two! The movie was pretty decent too!

Crab Walk 10-23-14

I went over to my sisters house tonight to hang out with her and the kids. I was walking up to my nephew in crab walk form and pretending to grab him with my pinchers. after I sat down on the couch he proceeded to do the same thing to me.....this is his crab walk!

I went with my co-worker and some of her friends to my favorite restaurant Dusit Thai. 

War Eagle Craft Fair 10-19-14

My mom and I went over to Fayetteville for the big War Eagle Craft Fair. We had a great time together looking at all the handmade goodies. 

Pumpkin Patch Day 10-18-14

We have a family tradition of going to the pumpkin patch every year in the fall. We take the hay ride around the farm, pick out pumpkins and OF COURSE get some super yummy Apple Cider!

Out of the Darkness 10-17-14

My niece and I "wogged" the Out of the Darkness 5k tonight and Dustin ran it. The proceeds went to an organization that helps bring awareness to human trafficking and gives help to the victims.

Learning 10-16-14

Dustin taught me how to change a tire tonight! We also changed the head light bulb together.

He was a really great teacher, and I can totally do this now! :-)

Look Busy 10-15-14

We were leaving from our friends house in Flippin and Dustin tells me that one of my headlights are out. So on my way home, I was expecting to get pulled over for it. Sure enough I was driving through Flippin and a police officer pulled out behind me. I pulled into the gas station. He gets out and comes to my window. He asks if I know that my head light is out and I told him I just found out a few minutes ago. He said "Yea, it just makes me look like I am doing something...you know small town." HAA HAA so I he took my license and registration and went back to make sure I wasn't actually some hard criminal....he must not have found anything interesting cause he let me go, but at least I made him look busy for a few minutes! Oh...small town problems.

You Left Me! 10-13-14

Dustin walked out to the garage and Blue was upset he didn't let him go with.

Caney Mountain Adventure10-12-14

 Dustin and I went to Caney Mountain with my dad today. We didn't find the cave we were looking for, but we did still made it into a small cave and had a great time in nature.

 

Cat Whisperer 10-11-14

Dustin's parents came by the house this afternoon. Blue, our cat, decided to take advantage of the new warm lap available.

Strangely Beautiful 10-10-14

I went to the cafe in the library to have soup for lunch on this chilly day. I got there and they had no soup left. So I decided to just eat the granola bar in my purse and sit by one of the windows in the library and read my book. I had been sitting there for a bit when this elderly lady sat in the chair across from me. She looked so worn out and eventually fell asleep with her head resting in her hand. It was strangely beautiful. The grey light that shown through the window gave the wrinkles in her time aged skin their own stories. I couldn't help but watch her a bit. My eyes then traveled down to her feet. The pants hemmed with colorful paper clips, the vibrant color of the turquoise in her shoes and the stack of miscellaneous papers stuffed into her purse tickled my imagination. I felt like if I didn't get my camera out and take a quick picture I would be doing a disservice to everyone who missed this sweet moment.

Game of Thrones 10-08-14

So we have here a game night over at our house with our friends. We are attempting to learn how to play the extensive board game of Game of Thrones....at about 8 pm after a day of working, using our brains and after a few glasses of wine....

Boat Night 10-07-14

Date night with my husband on the in-laws boat. We watched the sunset and the moon rise. Sweet night with my man, unfortunately none of the pictures we took together came out very well, so your just getting me this time.

A Ball of Yarn 10-06-14

So I've been learning to crochet. I worked on my wash cloth tonight and that's basically the most exciting thing I did today. sorry.

Weekend Adventure With Dad 10-04-14

Dad and I went on a hike today out to Goat Bluff Trail near Ponca, AR today. It was downhill most of the way...so that means it was totally uphill all the way back out...a 3 mile one way... Dad did great though I think I had more aches and pains with my knees the next day than he did! We had such a great time! I love adventuring with him!

We went out to eat with Dustin's parents at House of Pizza tonight. 

These two are so sweet and I love them both!

Fun Thursday Night 10-02-14

A had an after work date with my sweet mom tonight. We went to Blackbird Cafe and got smoothies and a blueberry lemon scone, it was wonderful to catch up with that sweet lady.

Then Dustin, our friend Kib and I went to a Casey Abrams concert which was super fun. We even got to meet Casey and the crew at the restaurant we went to afterwards! Fun night!
