Where Are The Bunnies!?

Today, I came home from being gone all day at work, greeted my dogs and went to check on the bunnies. I went into the room we were keeping them in lifted the blanket on the top of the kennel and peered into their small box where I had left them this morning. I expected to see them all curled up and looking up at me, instead I saw an empty box inside of a large locked dog kennel. I stood there and just stared at the box for a moment or two as my brain thought back to this morning when I put them back into their box after feeding them. I definitely put them back in the box this morning so the only explanation was that they had escaped their box and the kennel and where somewhere in the room. I began to scan the room....didn't see them. Now, thankfully I had the sense to close the door to that room today or their would be no more bunnies.  I knew they had to be in there somewhere. At the corner of my eye I saw a small movement, there they were all three of them huddled up as happy as can be by the heater vent that was blowing warm air right onto their little bodies. When they saw me they started to come hoping over and all wanted on my lap at once. I am just SO glad I had that rooms door closed today!!
