Christmas Eve 12-24-14

Today is Christmas Eve!
My dad took our family picture today, so I can't put that up here,
but we attempted to do our own before he came by.
We had my in-laws over for a Christmas Eve Fondue party. It was a great day!
Our little family minus the crazy cat
who didn't want to be in the picture

My sweet, obnoxious, adorable puppy.
I love her SO much and she loves her mommy!

Our evening dinner spread!

Our Christmas eve tradition is to open our stockings, watch
A Charlie Brown Christmas and sleep in the living room by the tree.

We got ready for our fondue Christmas Eve party tonight. I made a pretty centerpiece with burlap and decorations from nature. I had never done a big centerpiece before,
and I actually did pretty well on it!

Precious Moments 12-22-14

Got my yearly ornament from Aunt Pattie in the mail tonight. According to some of my family members I use to look like a Precious Moments doll when I was little with my big brown eyes and blond hair. So, Aunt Pattie sent me this sweet little Precious Moments Angel to hang on our tree.
I love it!

Some of the ladies of Sneed Eye Associates got together for a progressive dinner tonight. We went to three different houses. One house for salads, another for the main course and the third home for dessert and some Christmas games. It was a very fun evening!

We started at Diane's home, such a beautiful
home decorated so festively!

Our three hosts for the evening! Sally, Diane and Tiffany!

Isn't Sally's Christmas tree
beautiful!?

This is Tiffany, she worked so hard on
her super delicious desserts!

Twelve Days and a Kitty 12-13-14

We had some of our friend over tonight for a Christmas party. We had decided to all dress up as the different gifts from the Twelve Days of Christmas. Since there was only six of us, we all had to pick to randomly out of a hat. It turned out really fun and our costumes were all pretty great.

After everyone left kitty started posing underneath the Christmas tree.....

Decorating Beginnings 11-30-14

It was about 70 degrees today and we put out our Christmas lights on our house. I was wearing a tank top and flip flops on the last day of November.
Gracie helped me put up the trees that line our driveway.

Left-Overs and Decorations 11-28-14

We got together the day after Thanksgiving at moms house to have a left overs dinner.
Mom had just gotten a new Christmas tree early that morning on a Black Friday sale, so we got to decorate the new tree. We played games and enjoyed each others company.

Mom and her grandchildren putting up ornaments on the new Christmas tree.
Dustin had to hold his thumbs in his mouth
like this while holding an object (his phone)
when it wasn't his turn....the whole game!

Thanksgiving At The River 11-27-14

For Thanksgiving lunch we went through the woods and over the creeks to the Wilson's cabin by the White River. We had so much delectable food there and got to visit with our sweet extended family. The weather was perfect outside so we got to enjoy the sun and the beautiful view of their land and the river. We had such a memorable time!

Jo finishing up some preparations for the big feast.
Steve relaxing in his comfy chair by the fire.
Each year you that you make it for Thanksgiving you
sign this table cloth and they embroider it onto the cloth,
I am blessed to be on this table cloth several times.

a rest from the days activities.

Early Thanksgiving 11-04-14

This year we had an early Thanksgiving feast at my parents house. My brother in law wont be here, due to his job, during the actual date of Thanksgiving so we decided to just have it early! It was a great night filled with sweet loving family time!

Independence Day 7-4-13

What a fun day! Started out with family time over at my parents house with my family. We ate good food, played outside in the perfect weather, had patriotic ice cream and just had a good time together! So thankful for my sweet family!

My youngest niece. I love her free spirit!

My youngest niece and I
have kind of kindered spirits.
We like to be out of the ordinary.
So of course our little bead doll
couldn't have normal color hair, no,
we made that girl some purple hair!
Patriotic little ladies!

My amazing momma and her grandson blowing bubbles!
We also were going to go out on the boat for the Fireworks over the lake tonight  with Dustin's family. We didn't quite make it though because, as is tradition. you just can't have a Johnson outing with out some kind of hiccup. On the way out of their driveway they crunched a small hole into one of the pontoons of the boat. So long story short we sat on the hill together facing the lake and watched the fireworks from the shore. It was just fine though we still had a good time.

Overlooking the lake, waiting for the fireworks to start.

Father's Day #2 6-15-14

Tonight, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house out in Lakeview for a Father's Day celebration, with my family. We had a Bar-B-Que out on their back deck. It was a beautiful evening filled with family time and good memories.
My sweet dad and my charming husband talking about...drum roll please
.....TECHNOLOGY :-)

This is my brother-in-law Dave and his son Wesley.
Dave and I don't always get along or see eye to eye
but I can so without reserve that he is a fantastic
daddy to his three kiddos.
Thanks for raising my nieces and nephew up right Dave!
We also celebrated Grandpa's birthday that is actually on Tuesday. We were singing to him in this shot. He blew out all those candles in one blow!
