Sweet Summer Night 7-1-14

Dustin and I took the dogs for a walk at Cooper Park tonight as the sun was going down. The sunset was beautiful and the fireflies where showing off. It was perfect.

Kitty at Play 6-30-14

Today wasn't very exciting. The only picture worth sharing today is this one of Blue attacking a Tennis Ball. He really gets into it. back claws, fronts claws and teeth are all involved.

Checking on the Farm 6-29-14

Our friends were out of town this week so they asked us to go by their house and check in the rabbits and birds. Everyone was fine and happy when we got there. They told us any eggs that we could find, we could have. There were three eggs inside the food dish! The dogs LOVE to go out to the farm and run around. Zipper loves to watch the chickens, but she doesn't mess with them anymore.

Red, White and Blue 6-28-14

We got to the festival just in time to hear Coyote Union's last three songs. They are one of my very favorite local bands. It was rainy out tonight and so the fireworks display was threatened but not called off. It rained quite a bit 45 min. before the fireworks were to shoot off but then it cleared up and it was a wonderful display as usual.

Parade Time! 6-27-14

There is always a parade in town before the Red, White and Blue Festival kicks off at the ASUMH. My sister's kiddos love it. Wesley LOVES the tractors and Natalie and Renee look forward to the horses. Oh, and the candy is exciting too! I love these three kids!

A Walk at the Spring 6-26-14

So I went to a walk down in Cotter tonight. There was a beautiful mist over the river and the setting sun made all the trees and flowers look golden.

Deal 6-25-14

Met my sister over at Mom's house tonight. We talked and played games and just had a good time being together.

Sunset On the Lake 6-24-14

We took the pups for a walk on David's Trail tonight. Afterwards we went down to the lake to let the pups get a drink and cool down. The sun was setting and it was a beautiful evening to be out there.

Light in the Gloominess 6-23-14

It rained today which is really nothing out of the ordinary lately. I love the way our neighbors light post looks when it is gloomy and rainy. The way it shines off the wet street, it's beautiful to me.

Calamity Beach 6-22-14

Dustin and I went out to Calamity beach this afternoon. We were there for less then 20 min before it started down pouring. Before the rain came down I got some pictures of one of the hundreds of butterfly bushes that were along the river and a pretty wild passion flower.

Our melon plants are full of little yellow flowers! We will have little melons soon hopefully!

Muddy Paw 6-18-14

I took a picture of a scratched up, muddy window? Yes, I did. That is my Zipper girl's paw right there. When she has had enough of being outside she sometimes jumps up on the sliding glass door. I saw this perfect paw print from across the room as the sun was setting and shining through the glass.

First Love of Arkansas 6-17-14

I was driving tonight and I had to pull over to get a picture of this gorgeous view. Arkansas really does have some beautiful sunsets. The sunsets were one of the first few things that made me fall in love with Arkansas.

Demon Inside 6-16-14

This kitty may be a sweetie when his daddy is home but when it is just him and I....this is what I get. Dustin is at a Tech conference so Blue is without his daddy and he likes to take it out on me. I was laying on the couch and blue was lounging on the side I had my feet propped up. While I was talking to Dustin on the phone, Blue lunged at my feet and grabbed them with claws out. We are not starting this time together out well.....demon kitty.

Father's Day #2 6-15-14

Tonight, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house out in Lakeview for a Father's Day celebration, with my family. We had a Bar-B-Que out on their back deck. It was a beautiful evening filled with family time and good memories.

We also celebrated Grandpa's birthday that is actually on Tuesday. We were singing to him in this shot. He blew out all those candles in one blow!

Father's Day #1 6-14-14

Dustin got to spend all day with his dad and brother. They took apart a 3d printer then put it back together a different way. It is all three of their things to take stuff apart, figure it out and put it together again. They loved their time together today and I am so happy they got that time.

Lifes a Picnic 6-13-14

Today Dustin and I took half a day off and slept in and then went to the park for a picnic with some of my family. My sis and her three kiddos met us there. We ate our lunches, played on the park, and watched the huge turtles at the pond.

So Close 6-12-14

Tonight was a full moon. It was supposed to be completely full at midnight but this picture is at about 9:45. It looks way closer than it actually is. Like I could just grab a ladder and head on up.
